The People Behind The Work

Northward exists for families who don’t want to simply choose an education for their child. They want to thoughtfully create one.

A Different Kind of Team

An exceptional private education requires more than one exceptional teacher. It requires people who understand the whole child-and know how to bring the plan, educator, resources, and family vision together.

Northward brings educators, school leaders, learning specialists, and strategists around one shared purpose: creating an education designed for the individual child.

Our Team

Meet The Northward Team

Our team includes educators, school leaders, learning specialists, strategists, and people who have spent years thinking about what makes learning meaningful.

Katy Schmitt

At Northward, she brings that perspective to every family conversation—helping transform individual needs, interests, and aspirations into a thoughtful educational vision.

She is building a new model of private education that gives families both extraordinary educational experiences and the expert guidance needed to manage them well.
